very good points here Bobby boy:) I think one problem is a lot of people don't even know the difference between their mask and who they are underneath it as they have identified for so long with it on...

Some people see it as 'putting their best foot forward', but of course it's a lot more insidious than that.

I vote for leaving the masks at home. If someone only likes the 'best' you, then your relationship isn't going to last long.

Yes. It's a real problem and I think it's pretty obvious it's why a lot of relationships break down. The thing is, you fall for the person someone wants you to see, which is probably the person they'd like to be all the time, but can't keep up indefinitely.

Probably the best advice is, don't get married unless you can afford two houses and can agree not to see each other more than three or maximum four days a week - should stay fresh and exciting for years, if not forever ;)
