We went from physically hunting and gathering for our food and clothing to going to a store with great variety of both.
We went from walking great distances over unbearable terrain to effortlessly driving anywhere in comfort.
We went from carrier pigeon to simply picking up the telephone.
Boy, the human race can be a creative bunch, no? So, it makes me wonder, need a date? Why not just go to "Dates-made to order" and pick one you fancy? I'm not talking about escorts, no, I'm sticking with sincere people looking for a lifetime partner. If we look closely enough, we can see that the online dating services are getting more and more categorical.
Foreign, Christian, lesbian, mature, BDSM and even financial just to name a few of the many niches out there. Just about anything you are looking for in a partner can be found from the comfort of your keyboard.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that cyber-dating will replace in person dating, but I do wonder what online dating will be like in say 50 years? I'm pretty sure it will be more vastly used and an integral part of dating.

Now it's easy to find a partner anywhere in the world! :) In 50 yrs...I can't even think that far ahead. Maybe too many choices people can't decide...what if someone want all the 4 above? haha
